The 2013 Health Policy Essentials Briefing Book is live!
The Essentials briefings, held at the start of every congressional session, help new and returning congressional staff get up to speed with overviews of the major programs and issues at hand, including Medicare, Medicaid, CHIP, private health insurance, public health, and long-term care, and help identify some of the key areas of focus likely to come into play during this congressional session. This briefing book compiles the speakers' slides, materials provided, and additional resources pertinent to each session.
