| Summary: | This session examined the current state of the health care safety net and key health reform provisions impacting safety net providers. Speakers reviewed and commented on provisions related to health insurance coverage and provider payment, service capacity expansion, and payment and delivery system reform. They discussed opportunities and challenges for successful implementation, the changing nature and role of the health care safety net in communities across the country, and issues for continued and future consideration. |
