Cara Biddlecom, MPH, is the health system transformation lead at the Oregon Health Authority's Public Health Division. In this capacity, she provides leadership on initiatives designed to improve population health within the context of Oregon's transforming health system. Her current role includes management of the State Innovation Model grant-funded community prevention program and leadership for Oregon's public health modernization effort. Prior to joining the Public Health Division in 2008, Ms. Biddlecom worked in HIV prevention at Our Place, DC, and the National Association of County and City Health Officials in Washington, DC. Ms. Biddlecom holds a master of public health degree from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, and a bachelor of arts degree from the Evergreen State College.
