Linda Bahrke, RN, BSN, MAOM, FABC, administrator, is responsible for Mosaic Life Care's population health management approach as well as the accountable care organization (ACO).
Her 30 years of experience in clinical nursing care, care management, and 10 years in the health insurance industry make her an intrinsic part of the team. Ms. Bahrke earned her diploma as a registered nurse in 1984 from St. Luke's School of Nursing in Sioux City, Iowa. Ten years later, she earned a bachelor of science degree in nursing, followed by a master of arts degree in organizational management in 1997, both from the University of Phoenix.
As administrator, Ms. Bahrke uses her background to lead population health, providing oversight for operations and achievement of its goals and objectives. Within its self-insured health plan, Mosaic had no increases in premiums for nearly ten years, and it was one of only 29 ACOs to earn shared savings in year one of the MSSP program. In year two of the MSSP program, Mosaic again earned shared savings and was number two in the nation for quality.
In 2009, Ms. Bahrke became a fellow of the Advisory Board Company and has been featured in a variety of trade magazines.
