Peter Shin, PhD, is an associate research professor of health policy at George Washington University and is the director of the Geiger Gibson Program (GGP) in Community Health Policy and RCHN Foundation Collaborative. Dr. Shin focuses on the study of community health systems and integration of care for vulnerable populations and is author of nearly 100 health policy reports on community health centers, uninsured, medically underserved populations, health care financing, and health information technology (IT). He is an expert in survey design, the management and analysis of data, community-based participatory research, policy analysis, and qualitative and quantitative evaluations and has provided technical assistance to federal state agencies and organizations. He received his master of public health and PhD in public policy degrees from George Washington University.
