Thomas "Tim" Greaney, JD, is Chester A. Myers Professor of Law and co-director of the Center for Health Law Studies at Saint Louis University School of Law. He is co-author of the nation’s leading health law casebook, Health Law: Cases, Materials and Problems (6th edition); and Health Law, Practitioner Treatise and Hornbook editions, all published by Thomson/West. In 2007, Professor Greaney was named as Jay Healy Health Law Professor of the Year by the American Society of Law, Medicine and Ethics. Before joining the Saint Louis University faculty, he served as assistant chief of the Department of Justice, Antitrust Division, supervising health care antitrust litigation. Professor Greaney has also been a Fulbright Fellow in Brussels and has been a visiting professor at Seton Hall University, l’Universite Paris-Dauphine, and Universite d’Orleans. He received his BA degree magna cum laude from Wesleyan University and his JD degree from Harvard Law School. He is a member of the American Antitrust Institute Advisory Board and Academic Links Committee of the American Association of Health Lawyers
